See how it reads a stock

Six checks, one verdict, in plain English.

Instead of reading six indicators yourself, you see how they line up — and why the call was made.

How a clean Bullish Setup reads — representative, not a live call
🟢 Bullish Setup
★★★★★
5 / 6 signals aligned · high conviction
Why: momentum and trend line up, it is pushing its 52-week high, and the weekly timeframe agrees with the daily — only a fresh volume surge is still missing, so it reads as a clean setup, not a one-indicator blip.

The weekly check

Then it confirms the bigger trend.

A daily setup is only half the picture. The weekly snapshot lines each one up against the higher timeframe — so you act on the moves the weekly trend already agrees with, and wait on the ones it doesn't.

✅ ALIGNED — weekly and daily agree, the highest-conviction read. ⚡ WAIT — the weekly is bullish but the daily hasn't caught up yet. The alignment column is the one number that tells you whether a setup is ready or still forming.

The verdict system

One word per stock. Nothing to interpret.

Indicators are combined into a single call, so you scan a list instead of reading six oscillators per chart.

🟢 Bullish Setup

Multiple signals agree

Momentum, volume and trend are aligned and the weekly timeframe confirms the daily. The setups worth a closer look.

🟡 Caution

Mixed or early

Some signals are firing but confirmation is partial — a watchlist candidate, not a green light.

🔴 Weak Technicals

Signals against it

Weak or deteriorating structure. The list you skip, so your attention goes where it counts.

Why it's different

Built around what most screeners skip.

Anyone can list stocks over an RSI threshold. The edge is in how the call is made.

01

A confidence score, not a single trigger

Each stock earns points across several checks — and confirmed crossovers count for more than a lone signal — so the rating reflects how much agrees, not just that one thing fired.

02

Weekly–daily alignment

A daily breakout is only flagged Bullish Setup when the weekly trend agrees, cutting the false starts that trap intraday-only scans.

03

Stage-aware, not just a snapshot

Every stock is classified Stage 1–4 (basing, advancing, topping, declining) against its weekly trend — so a move in a Stage 2 advance is weighted differently from one in a Stage 4 decline.

04

Sector rotation view

See which sectors are turning green together — the context that tells you whether a single name is a lone move or a wave.

05

ETF market read

Index and sector ETFs are scanned too, giving a quick gauge of which way the broad market is leaning today.

06

Runs itself, after close

Fresh every trading evening from official end-of-day market data. Open it in the morning, the work is done.

Stage analysis

It knows which stage a stock is in.

Most screeners tell you a stock is moving. Far fewer tell you where in its lifecycle that move is happening — and that's the difference between buying strength and buying a top. Every stock is classified into one of four structural stages, the way Stan Weinstein's method reads a chart, computed from its position against a rising or falling weekly moving average.

Stage 1
Basing

Drifting sideways after a decline, building a base. No trend yet — patience, not entries.

→ usually Neutral
Stage 2
Advancing

Price above a rising weekly average — the markup phase. This is where Bullish Setups belong.

→ where setups earn conviction
Stage 3
Topping

Momentum stalling over a flattening average. Strength is fading even if price looks fine — handle with care.

→ flagged Caution
Stage 4
Declining

Below a falling average — the markdown phase. The setups to avoid, no matter how oversold they look.

→ kept off your buy list

The stage runs on both the daily and weekly scans, and you can filter the whole list by it — so a single click shows only Stage 2 advancers and hides the Stage 4 names that trap bottom-fishers.

Methodology

How the verdict is built.

No black box. Every call is a transparent combination of standard indicators across two timeframes.

DAILY The daily scan

  1. Every evening it recomputes RSI, EMA, MACD, relative volume (RVOL), and proximity to the 52-week high.
  2. Each confirming indicator adds to a score — a fresh EMA or MACD crossover counts for more than a single aligned signal — and that score sets the strength rating: Strong, Moderate or Weak.
  3. RSI is read in bands: a healthy zone that scores (✓), stretched and overbought levels (labelled, no score), and a weak zone that's flagged.
  4. The verdict comes from how those signals combine — several aligned → Bullish Setup; partial or early → Caution; weak or breaking down → Weak Technicals.
  5. Today's verdict is compared to yesterday's to tag direction — NEW, WATCH (just upgraded), HELD or EXIT — so you see movement, not just a static label.
  6. Your filters (index, cap tier, sector, signal type) then narrow it, and only stocks passing every active filter stay on the list.

WEEKLY The weekly scan

  1. Once a week it rolls the daily candles into Friday-close weekly bars and recomputes RSI, EMA, MACD and volume on the higher timeframe.
  2. It scores each stock across the core signals: RSI in a healthy zone, a bullish EMA crossover, MACD turning up, a volume surge, and proximity to the 52-week high.
  3. Multi-week momentum adds more — a multi-week bullish streak, RSI rising several weeks, and RSI acceleration each lift the score further.
  4. A Bullish weekly verdict requires all five core conditions — RSI in a healthy zone, EMA uptrend, MACD rising, healthy volume, and a comfortable score; four of five reads Caution.
  5. Hard disqualifiers — an overbought RSI, no uptrend, dead volume, or a sharp weekly drop — pull the verdict down regardless of score.
  6. The weekly read is the trend filter for the daily list: a daily Bullish Setup that also has a Bullish weekly earns the 🔥 Both Bullish tag — the highest-conviction signal.
